Kaizoku Hime ch1.1

New series!
Kaizoku Hime was supposed to have been one of main initial series, but lack of staff lead to stalling (mostly due to lack of Japanese translators). But, we're finally working on it and we have part 1 of chapter 1 ready for release!
Here's the summary from mangaupdates:
"Pirates are the lowest~~!"
Rose is a young girl who stubbornly believes herself to be a high-class princess, what happens when the one who comes to “kidnap” that slightly restless girl ends up being a heinous pirate, a crew member of the "Phantom”…!? Blood will race, set sail on a love and romance adventure—Ahoy!!

For curious souls - My name has NOT been taken from this project. On the contrary, I came across this manga because of my name and decided to pick it up. :P

As you know megaupload has been taken down. While we're ok, since we usually use mediafire for the group, but many of the public raws we used were on megaupload. So now we're left with no raw source for Night Head and Aries.
If you can provide us *good quality* raws for Night Head(volume 2 onwards) and Aries(volume 4 onwards) somehow then please email us at kaizokuscanz@gmail.com
Please do not link us the Chinese ones, we know about them and they're far from usable.

First of, I must thank all of you for the recent overwhelming support! ^^
It's wonderful to read all your thanks. It fills me with renewed vigor to bring you more manga! :)
But(!), renewed vigor isn't enough to bring out more releases... You know what is?
Joining us.
We currently need japanese/chinese translators, editors and quality checkers.

So onto our real announcement -
We're picking up Crows. It's a joint with Crimson Moon Scans.
We're almost done with chapter 65, so expect a release sometime this or next week! :D

One month anniversary release!!

So happy to be writing this today. ^^
A month's gone by since we made our first release Kumiko & Shingo, and boy, it seems like just yesterday.
I can't help but feel proud of Kaizoku Scanz.
I would like to especially thank all my staffers and the releases today are dedicated to them (lol even though they were the ones working on them). :D

So now onto our releases, we have 2-

First off is the next chapter of Goumaden, chapter 9. Seiki makes his appearance here and you have a bit of romance between Douji and Maki. :3

The second is Aries, a new project.
Summary  from MU:
Fuyuki's modern adaptation of Greek mythology about the love between Hades the God of the Underworld and Persephone, the daughter of Demeter. The Greek gods and goddesses now assume human forms but still retain all their vast powers. All except for high school student, Arisa who for some reason is unable to remember her past incarnation as Persephone and her life with Hades who in this present day is her classmate, Amano. Announcement!

Hello, everybody.
We have 2 announcements -

First, we are dropping Goumaden Shutendoji.
Don't cry yet, Lively Scans will continue scanlating it.
They had marked the project as theirs but we didn't know.
So, I apologize to Lively for any inconvenience we may have caused to them.

Secondly, we were going to do 14-sai no Koi but another group Playground's doing it and has released till chapter 2.
We shall drop that too but since we have 2 chapters ready, we will still release them, but only on our blog.
